Course Description

Often there is a lot that can still be seen in the recreational depth limits and so adding this extra 10 meters of depth is a huge benefit to many of the dive sites around the world.

To join the PADI Deep Diver Course you need to have your Advanced Open Water Diver certificate and you need to be minimum 15 years of age.

The course is intended as a safe introduction to deep diving.

The following topics are covered by the PADI Deep Diver Course:

Planning, organization and procedures of deep diving.
Techniques, problems and hazards of deep diving.
Risk factors and a refresher of the theory behind the decompression tables.
Safety stops and emergency decompression procedures.
Special equipment, descent lines and trimming considerations.
Procedures for diving at heights and for flying after diving.
Orientation to recompression chambers.
Gas management and taking gas narcosis into account.
Buddy contact procedures and buoyancy control.

During 4 open water dives you will be able to put into practice what you learned during the theory sessions.

Making deeper dives means that you have to pay more attention to your dive planning, management of your air supply and safety to ensure that the dive runs smoothly.

After receiving the PADI Deep Diver certificate you will be allowed to dive with your buddy to a depth of maximum 40 meters.

Schedule: Day 1: Knowledge reviews and skills

Dive 1 and 2 will be executed between 18 and maximum 30 meters.

Day 2: Knowledge reviews and skills.

Dive 3 will be executed between 30 and maximum 40 meters.

Dive 4 will be executed between 18 and maximum 30 meters.
