PADI Discover Scuba Diving

Most of the time the Discover Scuba Diving program is a full day program during a boat trip. We will transfer you from your hotel to the boat and sail to two different dive sites with between the dives a tasty lunch and some free spare time. In the late afternoon you will return to land where transportation is waiting for you to transfer you back to your hotel.

All the equipment needed for the Discover Scuba Diving program is provided by the diving center.

There are no specific requirements needed to participate but a good health and some swimming skills are supposed to be acquainted. The minimum age for Discover Scuba Diving is 10 years.

You will have 2 dives at two different dive sites under the supervision of a professional dive guide.

With the Discover Scuba Diving program there is no theory. However you will receive a briefing on board before making the first dive. 

Your dive guide will explain you during the briefing the following:

• The signs to communicate underwater.
• How to move underwater.
• How to breathe underwater.
• How to solve small problems that may occur while diving, such as clearing your mask and clearing your ears.

Although the Discover Scuba Diving experience does not provide a diving license, you learn how to use the diving equipment and you get an quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world till a depth of 12 meters.

You will also learn a number of basic skills and safety rules that you can take with you all along during the eventually next steps in your diving education.
